Resources for Residents

What is available to our citizens, and stakeholders and how do we provide it?

Starting earlier this winter, MPD began a proud partnership with New Hope, adding a vital resource to our department in the form of Laurie, our Civilian Police Advocate (CPA).  As our CPA, Laurie is available to our residents victimized by domestic violence offering crisis intervention, safety planning, support and resources according to each individual’s needs. Studies have shown that the sooner victims are connected to their local domestic violence agency, they are more likely to feel empowered to make positive change in their life.

Laurie has dedicated hours here at MPD on Tuesday from 11:00-1:00 and on Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00 but she is available to us by phone during the day and  by email and voicemail.. Her direct extension here at MPD is 508-261-7301 x61356

www.new-hope.org  or 1 (800) 323-HOPE(4673) We will update her direct line here at MPD soon.
